What is special about our school?

Welcome to Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form, an ambitious school striving for ‘excellence for all.’  We believe our students are entitled to an excellent education regardless of ability or background.

This means that our students leave us equipped as life-long learners, prepared to contribute positively to the wider community and able to lead a successful and fulfilling life being the best that they can be. We are a caring school that aims to inspire and encourage students to take pride in what they do and in who they ARE. We believe that our students should:

  • Aspire to achieve by aiming for excellence in every way

  • Respect all others and their environment by demonstrating exceptional behaviour at all times

  • Engage with their learning effectively by consistently demonstrating an excellent attitude to learning

This is who we ARE and we now invite you to be part of our future achievements as, together, we aim to develop excellence in each individual student.

The school provides a very positive environment for learning, which successfully supports the excellent academic and personal development of our students. We are very proud that they recognised not only the outstanding academic success but also our belief that the education for each student extends far beyond this, as they grow as individuals.
