This week in Form time we have been discussing with our students the different Black Cultural Icons that have influenced them – both past and present. We have also tasked them with researching the achievements of some Black British Icons that are making history today, such as Malorie Blackman, Bukayo Sako and Akala. In History, we have set the challenge for our students to find out about 31 Black cultural icons – past and present, one for each day of BHM. We encourage you to talk to your child about what they have found out.
