Foodbank Norwich

40% of children in Norwich are currently deemed as living in poverty, and with the colder months quickly approaching, Team 6 are collecting donations for the Norwich Food Bank to ensure that families don’t go hungry this winter. With the cost of living crisis rapidly increasing, many families in the United Kingdom are having to choose between heating their homes or putting food on the tables. Norwich Foodbank are making sure that those that need it, don’t go hungry this winter.

What to Donate:

  • Long life milk

  • Tinned meat/fish

  • Tinned veg

  • Pasta sauce

  • Tinned soup

  • Tinned rice pudding

  • Squash/fruit juice

  • Biscuits/cereal bars

  • Cuppa soup/mug shots

  • Laundry detergent

  • Washing up liquid

  • Shampoo

  • Deodorant

  • Toilet rolls

If you would like to donate, there will be a donation box outside of the Head of Year 12 and 13’s office in the square!

The deadline is Wednesday 14 December so they can get delivered on time before we break up.

Alumni student, Daniel Harvey, has been organising aid for Ukraine and Team 6 would like to help him with this. We are asking for donations to help families who are still living in a war zone. We are accepting items that would be beneficial for the cold winters they have in Ukraine. We would also like to donate items that could be given as Christmas Presents. Thank you in advance for all your support!’
