Economics

Curriculum Intent Statement:

Economics gives students a toolkit with which they build a deeper understanding of real-world issues.  It provides a framework to investigate past events, evaluate current economic conditions and assess economic forecasts. This subject looks at economic activity through consumers, producers and government perspectives. Students need to consider and reflect upon moral, ethical and sustainable issues that arise as a result of the impact of economic activity. It is a stimulating and dynamic subject which will engage and challenge all students.
