Today we travelled by coach to Nausicaá, a massive aquarium, where we had time to wander around and visit all the wonderful creatures! On arrival, we were delighted to see the sign “wifi gratuit”. You could also get up close and touch some of the animals like the rays and a couple of fish. After that we had time to go into the shop and have a look around, then at 12:00 pm we sat in a park and ate a picnic.
After lunch we travelled to Boulogne town centre, here we had about an hour of free time to have a look around the town.
Lastly we went to a bakery (une boulangerie) to learn how bread and croissants are baked traditionally. They told us how long it took to bake and the difference between traditional hand-baked and industrially baked. Then after that we had a go at shaping our own bread. After this we then swapped (because we were in two groups), and we had a go at shaping croissants. C’était très amusant.
Ce soir, on faut des crêpes !
