The curriculum and examination process in English Language and Literature requires these skills:
We are doing all we can to help your child approach the examinations with confidence and success, however it is important to know that homework and revision are, more than ever, a necessary part of your child being prepared for the four English examinations. Please see the attached list of ways your child could prepare for the Language and Literature examinations.

How? Flashcards, memory games and quizzes. The list is available in the Google Drive Year 11 revision folder emailed to your child and on Show My Homework.
How? The LRC offers a range of books your child can take out and compare openings of stories and styles of non-fiction writing.
How? Scan the newspapers and learn a new word each week
